Dental Crowns

Dental crowns are caps that fit snugly over your teeth. They can fix chips and cracks; strengthen a tooth after severe decay, trauma, or a root canal; cover deep stains; disguise an irregularly shaped tooth; and more! This restoration is natural-looking and functions just like a real tooth.

Dental Implants

Implants are small titanium screws surgically placed in your jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Over several months, the biocompatible screw fuses to your jawbone. We then fit a custom crown, bridge, or dentures onto the implant(s). Implants are the most realistic tooth replacement option. To care for an implant, you’ll need to brush and floss every day, avoid tobacco products, and regularly visit the dentist. These will keep your gums healthy, which will allow your implant to remain firmly anchored.

Dentures

If you’re missing multiple teeth (or even all your teeth), dentures can restore your smile. Dentures are a removable gum frame holding replacement teeth. They’re kept in place with an adhesive or implants. If you’re missing a few teeth, partial dentures are a good choice. If you need a total smile makeover, full dentures can replace an entire lower or upper arch.

Our office also offers simple tooth extractions, wisdom teeth removal, root canal therapy, and treatment for TMJ dysfunction (or TMD). While extractions and root canals have a bad reputation, these procedures are virtually pain-free because of modern dental techniques and anesthesia. I recommend his office to ANYONE who is looking for a dentist. No one asked me to give a review...I did it because I truly believe in his work, people skills & staff is top notch. So I’ve neglected going to the dentist for half my life and I decided to go here because this was the last place I went when I was 16. They still had me on file, Toni at the front desk was more than helpful. Full of laughter. The coffee machine was on point. I only write this review now because I had a particularly helpful visit. While there for a routine cleaning, I got to talking with Kristin about the microbiology classes I teach. She made some observations that inspired me to approach the latter half of the semester differently, and it was a super helpful change! I guess all that is to say that the workers are competent...but also pleasant and helpful. :P

I’ve had traumatic dental experiences in the past and am unfortunately one of those people who require a little more juice to get fully numbed. Farmington Dental not only managed to numb me completely but also prescribed an anxiety medication for the visit which helped ease the tension of getting in the chair. This is one of two dental experiences I can remember without experiencing pain and the other experience I was asleep. I’ll definitely be going back.
